Coil Packs not fully touching Spark Plugs????????

Ok well i originally made a thread called "uphill battle from 2-5 gear" where my 95 5speed stumbled really bad going uphill through these gears....so i came to the conclusion to check the coil packs...I read lots of threads up here pertaining to coil packs and almost 100% of you guys say your coil packs require some decent tugging on them to take them off....my packs come off so easily my baby brother can probably take them off...i look inside the coil packs and they have these little springs inside of them......im thinking that these springs either arent touching onto the sparx enough or that the coil packs can possibly be cleaned........Any suggestions on fixing this problem???????

They don't take an astronomical amount of force to take off. They should go on and off with a firm "pop" but nothing requiring any tools or an incredible amount of strength. There's no reason for them to require a lot of force to take off or put on, as they're secured to the valve cover with a screw once they're in place.

Are you getting any codes that indicate one or more of your cylinders are misfiring? Do you have any codes at all for that matter? Does it idle poorly? Have you done a compression test? Have you checked your Mass Airflow Sensor? Do you notice anything unusual about the coloration of your spark plug electrodes?

if the springs are there then they are touching. plus if someone used dioelectric grease to install them then they would pull off easily. check your codes

Not getting any codes. bought a Brand new MAF 1 week ago. Idle is fine.. Problem is solved now....what i did was just simply take off the front coil packs and fiddle around with them a little bit by twisting them and crap and now the problem is not there anymore....Possibly a short in the coils?
