Kind of stupid, I guess I'll be the first to say it. I can't believe how much of a hurt you put on your transmission letting it shift into second like that during the burnout. OUCH. Drifting was ok, and it was the best part of the vid. High speed shots...eh. Your car seemed pretty slow up top, even with overdrive off. That is in no way an invitation to try it again. I don't know, but usually if I hear "hahahaha, we almost died" as commentary, it usually is pretty retarded. I mean damn, you almost rearended that fuggin Volvo ( I think that's what it was), and you still posted that.

edit: just saw it was your friends, but it still doesn't change how I feel about it.

The driver is a professional driver, no worries.
Yeah the speeding wasnt anything cool, but i just put everything of that car i had into one video. Theres some tray sliding videos but i cant seem to find them, most these clips are over a year old. As far as tires, yeah lol they are like k-mart 20 dollar tires, so no biggie on that.

I never said this was good to do for your car... My friend doesnt care too much for his car, but it was highly entertaining seeing all these burnouts n stuff, whats the point of havin a car and not having some fun in it once in a while...

The point of having a car is to drive it, and when his tranny is blown, it won't do him much good.

wow, your crazy. You had people in your car and were speeding like that not to mentiont the amount of traffic on the road. What if you were to hit that car, I'm sure if they would have found you recording dumb acts like that you would have probably gone to jail. Do what you want but dont put others in danger just to have some fun.

the difference is that he has a stick, and the car in the video is auto. auto's are **** when it comes to durability. sure they are great, but a stick is better for driving your car hard.

only cars i have owned were i have done burnouts in are
66 chevelle SS 396
86 monte ss
86 camaro iroc
and my 88 S10 blazer w/350 swap

all have been sold in good conition and not had any damage due to burnouts except the camaro... i blew both tires and destroyed the rims.. but that was my fault and i was trying to do it a local car show.....ahhh the good old days

#1: Maxima is FWD. FWD = burnouts not allowed.

#2: My maxima is my daily driver car. I literally can't afford to have shiet breaking.

Don't get me wrong, I go WOT when I know it's safe and I'm not endangering other people's lives. Trust me, I DEFINITELY know how to have fun with my VQ.

same here. anyone ever driven a chevy tracker? i drove my friends (its a 5spd) and with three people in the car it could chirp second. it kind of reminded me of driving my maxima with like 1/3 pedal. no idea why i am saying this.

Well clearly u can hear gears shifting during burnouts so its auto.... and idk about tires, it was cheap *** tires that my friend didnt care about and liked to roast.

Thanks for all the comments guys, and obviously the car can handle it, as a year after these videos were shot my friends car still runs just fine everyday.

I 2nd that. I wouldn't do any of the stuff shown in the video to my max.

Overall, cool video. You really roasted those tires. I like the drifts. Your friend is a madman on the freeway

i personally think burnouts are pretty dumb. i would never do one with my max. I would prefer to go to a track and see how much traction and control I can get out of the max and how much power outta the VQ rather than just sit there makin smoke. entertaining to watch, I suppose, but not my thing that's for sure.

liked the video up till the high speed thing... everything else looked controled and no one around to get hurt... the high speed thing was a little more reckless even for an experianced driver.

forgive me if i am wrong but... if he was a true professional driver, then he wouldnt of done that little swerve in the last clip almost hitting the other car... professional drivers would not of even attempted to change lanes seeing that there was no were to go... also wouldnt a professional driver that is driving an automatic drive with both hands on the wheel?

just my opinion as i know professional test drivers that are paid to drive some cars hard on closed test roads for different companies. and i have driven with a few race car driver friends...

not trying to knock your friend but can you explain the professional driver thing?

Hes not a "real" professional driver... just a very good experienced everyday driver IMO.

Professional drivers also would not go into the rumble strips when switching into the left lane.

Or do FWD burnouts.

The video was pretty cool though, Rosewood represent. Just playing devils advocate, but if that Focus was not paying attention and switch lanes to the right as they saw a car doing 110MPH behind them, then perhaps there might have not even been a video to look at today. Just food for thought; we all go fast, but where you speed makes all the difference in safety.

nice drifting - however i think i would have pulled out a pistol and shot you if I were that accord you almost slammed into. Excessive speeding on the highway is so stupid - there are so many things you cant control.

nice video.. tell your friend thank you for doing what many would want to do but can't afford i liked the vid up until the speeding part (as mentioned by others...) maybe it'd be cooler if you showed the 0-60 or 0-120 acceleration.. but seeing you drive on the highway and then zooming and and seeing you're going 110 is really nothing special. Personally i find nothing interesting in a maxima going a steady 120.. maybe if you hit off 140 that'd be something to show (no im not encouraging you... just giving you an idea)

Yeah i know the speeding part is nothing special, and not the smartest thing to do. But like i said before i just threw everything i had of that maxima into 1 video as i had a buncha clips. Had some tray sliding clips... but they seem to be gone, so i replaced those with the speeding part.
