Did you hook everything back up? Did you forget about the 2 coolant lines by the EGR? Did you plug back in you IAC? Did you replace any gaskets? Check your TPS, MAF and IAT (Intake air temp) sensors. Make sure the hose for the IAC to the intake is tight and sealed. Did you work on the engine when it was cold or hot? You have have wrapped the intake since its aluminum. but I highly doubt that. Did you hook up the hardware for the mevi to open as well? Checked where you tapped your VAC (T) make sure its all good. It seems everyone is having mevi problems.

FIXED!! woo wow its nice to hear the car run. Got the mevi partly running. The vacuum always suckin and the butterflys are always open. Im not sure why this is but i havent connect the summit switch or the relay. I need to get the connector for my AC Delco (GM) solenoid. It has a weird connector that didnt come with the kit. Im gonna try napa to see if they have it. If not im gonna have to go 2 the GM stealership. Tomarrow in going to install the summit swith if i can find the connector for the solenoid. When i get the summit switch wired where is it TAC thing i have to connect it to? It is by the passangers left foot in there. I saw in the FAQs that it was a green and white wire.

Anyways, the mevi pulls extremely nicely up high. It has a different sound now with the MEVI on. Cant wait to get it fully working!

is the fuel pressure regulator the little white circular thing? Can someone post a pic of a close up of the FPR then the vacuum lines and how they go. I have it exactly how it is in this pic:

Im not so sure that i have the T fitting correct by the FPR, thats my only concern. But the damn actuator wont close. Its always open. But i still havent wired anything because i dont have the proper connector for the GM Solenoid.

The GM solenoid is slightly different then what it looks like in hte pictures but i have it hooked up similarly

the actuator is probably constanty pulled cause you have it connected to a vacuum line directly and not threw the solenoid that activates when the actuator is pulled by the signal that the rpm switch sends to the solenoid when you reach the set rpm on the rpm switch.

with the stuff you have you don't need a relay.
1.summit racing rpm switch
2.ac delco solenoid
3.hoses
4.thats it nooo relay!!!

now for the solenoid i have yet to find the clip that goes to it so what i did was go to pep boys and look in the ile and look for these little metal clip things i don't know the name of it yet i will have to go there when im at my other job and post a pic of it for ya and the name of it. matter of fact i have a few extras at home so if you pm me your address i can mail you the two that you need already set up with the positive and negative wire attached to it for free!! and all you have to do when you get it is get a needle nose plier and squeeze them on the neg and pos nubs thats on the solenoid. once you squeeze one on give it alittle tug if its snug leave it alone if it looks like its about to come off squeeze it with the pliers till its snug. then do the other side the same way then connect the two wire to there connections which is the positive to the positive of the battery terminal and the negative wire to the rpm switches yellow wire or grey they both worked for me but to be positive let me get back to you on that.

the tach signal i used the screw behind the rpm guage i will take mines apart and snap a pic of the screw and post pic. dont mess with your ecu wire man.

woo finally some help! i would greatly greatly appreciate you taking some pictures. ill PM you with my address. Thanks so much again. The reason i think the accuator is staying open is bc the solenoid has to have current to release air through the vent hole. I read this in another thread somewhere. But THANKS AGAIN!

Sean
