Driver side axle *help*

About 3 weeks ago I purchased some axles from autozone. Me and a buddy got the right side on fine, the driver side was a "little bit" of a hassle. I had to go to work so we mingled with the axle some more until finally it seemed like it was in the tranny, I knew it wasn't but I had to get to work.

Well now I have a tremendous vibration under acceleration. So today I went back to my friend's house to see if we could get it in. To no avail we still couldn't get it to push all the way in.

Are there any tips you guys can give me that have done this, or did dumbass Autozone give me a LSD axle? I am leaning towards that due to they asked me everything else on the computer screen, tranny type (5spd), ABS yes, but they never asked me if I had LSD and now I can't find my receipts.

Please much help is greatly appreciated my Amsoil tranny fluid is dripping out the axle now .

Sorry to hear that man, worst case scenario is to rush putting the axles back in. If it is not seated properly I don't think you would have been able to even get the knuckle back on, i would say it is possible they gave you lsd axles, check the price, i would say the lsd would be more expensive of the 2 driver side ones they have in the computer.

Be rest assured when I tell you that you don't need the receipt. They have all of this information on hand in the computer system. Especially because you probably got a warranty on the axles and paid a core charge. I just returned my calipers for the return of the core charge $$. You'll have no problem.

ahh yes I forgot about the warranty. Well I'll have to check with autozone to see what they sent me. By any chance was I suppose to move anything over from the old axle to the new one?
