Hey Guys,

I got in my car yesterday and put the a/c on, but it didn't work. The setting was on 1. I then cranked it up to 4 and it worked, but does not work on 1, 2, or 3. A friend of mine told me it was the fan, but I am not sure. Any ideas on what this could be and how much to fix it? The a/c blows cold, but doesn't work on every setting.

A friend of mine told me to check the FAQ sticky....

 

I guess I was too lazy to read, but I didn't think this was a common problem. Now I know.

I recently had the same problem, and read the stickies. I changed the resistor and everything is fine now with the A/C
