Who else can't stand the look of the gray cloth interior seats on the 4th gens?

Yes, I do know that cloth seats have their good points, but I HATE the look of them. Too bad I have no money for the leather swap kit.

So I bought those NX Racing walmart seat covers until I get some $$!!

What have other 4th genners done to mask the look of those disgusting cloth seats?

Yea, but what about the back seats? I've always wondered about that. You replace the front seats with racing seats and you have stock looking rear seats. Doesn't it look a little funny? I personally would prefer a more uniform look, ala the leather interior.

I have leather in mine...to tell you the truth it only looks good. Winter....its way to cold, even with the heated seats, and summer your cooking. If your going for "back seat lovin" the leather just causes you to slide all over the place..which can interupt the situation. If something gets spilled...you have to be three times as careful getting it off. If someone gets in the car with a chain or something sharp/pointy, zippers etc, they either scratch the seats, or poke a hole in them...which then turns to a large tear. The sun fades them out, and dries the leather so it starts to crack in some spots. All in all...they are more trouble than they are worth.

Ill never give them up.

I have the tan creamy cloth in my max, ive owned the car for only a few months, and im pretty impressed with it, as compared to the gray sh*t that was in my 95 max..my dads 97 max(w/gold package) has the tan leather, and that looks even better.

And unlike other mods which actually accelerate the depreciation of the car, a leather swap increases the car's resale value!

One of the reasons I chose my Maxima was for the charcoal gray cloth seats. I just find them more comfortable than the leather seats on my old Maxima. They stay in better condition too and mine are heated, so they're nice in the winter! Leather definitely looks more sporty/classy but I don't mind how my cloth seats look.

I was tired of the gray cloth, but i couldn't afford the leather....so i tried to make the best of what i had. I dyed the cloth to make it look like racing seats.

my rear backseat is sun-faded on the top, so it's not gray anymore in that spot!

HUH? Wait, you're saying that GXE cloth seats are different than SE cloth seats? Or are you saying that your GXE cloth seats are better purely due to the condition they are in?

The military has you all over the place man.

I like the grey interior. It looks a hell of a lot better than the beige.

They are different. My car has the SE cloth seats and they are a flat charcoal gray but with inserts that have a jaggedy striped pattern on them. From what I've seen, the GXE seats are a lighter gray/beige and they have a different pattern that covers the entire seat, not just the inside portion.

There's nothing quite as sexy looking as a black car with black leather interior.

But I'd still rather have my charcoal gray cloth seats.

I sold/traded my black leather seats for gray cloth. Leather is gay and the cloth seat feel more supportive.
