I got relocated to Phila. in 1999. Woulda been nice if I had landed in DC, as housing values have doubled in that short 6 years. Sometimes one's job determines his/her net worth decades later, kinda like it unlocks the hidden potential as your job dictates where you will pay for housing (which is a highly-leveraged position). 850k sounds like a lot for a 30 yr. old 4-bed in DC/VA, but if you work there, you'll do it because the alternative is to rent.

We do borrow too easily as Americans. That's why you have 18 yr. olds asking should they get a 6th gen or an Audi A4. Then the other 18 yr. olds say "get a G35 coupe" as if it ain't no thing. Done matta if they're rich, it's a question of using their resources wisely.

I live in New Hampshire and the SNOW is coming, so I need to get a 4x4 ... my loss is your gain!"

Sooooo....... He buys a maxima puts thousands of dollars into it, then realizes oh crap I live in New Hampshire and it snows here. I must now get a 4x4.

Im sure it didnt take him 6 months to put all the garbage on that max.
I think this is the best part of the description.

"The sound system is an Alpine CD and you'll love it"

hahahh
If all i needed was an alpine cd to make my system better I would have done it ages ago.

So, my roomate who is black is racist against blacks????

I think it's more of a cultural statement. There's the hip hop culture that like cars like these. I'm sure a lot of them would agree that this car is a disgrace.

There's the hillbilly culture that like big trucks that are raised 6 feet off the ground. There's the suburban soccer moms that like big SUV's (Stupid Urban Vehicle). There's the suburban kids that love the riced out civics. Quite of a lot people in the latino culture like lowrider pickup trucks or lowrider cars from the 50's and 60's. There's the white trash culture with mullets that likes camaros. There's the old fart culture that like boats with 4 wheels.

There's a lot of people that don't fit into the above mentioned groups at all. I'm a suburbanite that hates civics and whose parents don't drive Stupid Urban Vehicles.

No one KNOWS who the seller is. So he is JUST as wrong.
I don't know anything about you, but if I see you or your car, I'm not going to assume that you wear khaki pants, button down shirts and listen to heavy metal in your spare time.
Hey, do you do any of that?

The more time you spend on the org. the more time you will have trouble pinning a race/group to any car (Maxima).

The maxima is generally thought of as "Dad's car," but I see quite a few people young and old, male and female driving them. I think it appeals to quite a few people. The enthusiasts tend to be male and 18-35 years old though.

You think it's cultural. I think it's stereotypical. Just becuase a statement does not offend one black person it does not mean that it won't offend another. It's the same with rice civics, big trucks, soccer moms, whatever. This type of statement is not tollerable in forums. It may not offend me but I will stand up for the people that read this and just shake their heads and don't posts replies. A lot a racist comments are accepted nowadays but I will stand for the forum rules. The poster probably meant no harm but I had to say it.
