More often than not, I suspect it would relate to a slave cylinder that requires replacing.

I had this happen to me, I was losing a lot of fluid. Turns out there was a 'wet' hose located under the air scoop, a rubber hose that plugs into the tranny. It's about 10 inches long. I bought a new one at the stealer $50. Put it on and the leak is GONE! I need to bleed the line some more but I definitely found the cause.

Edit- This was 2 months ago and no more leaks!

well, mine is leaking a little bit, but I think that's because I didn't tighten the slave cylinder as well as I could have, and i'm just lazy. clean all the cables, refill the reservoir with fluid, then looks for leaks.

Possibly the rubber hoses that run to the slave cylinder (there are two of them), I changed my slave and that wasn't the problem. Bought the hoses but I have been too lazy to put them on. There was a thread on this 6 or 8 months ago.
