To all of you that have done a VI mod, did you notice any gas mileage increase? If so how much? And I'd like to know the difference between the mevi and 00VI if any. With this "fuel crisis" we have it would be nice to save a little. Even if its like 3 or 4 mpg thats a decent chunk o change at the end of the month.

No increase or decrease..

Only decrease initially since it feels good @ higher RPM, but under normal driving, it's the same.

why would you get better gas mileage? if anything with the 00vi you will get worse mileage because of the bigger DE-K injectors if you use them without tune.

im running rich now and getting liek 16mpg.

Tune that bish!

With all my mods and conservative driving (shifting before 2K), I get over 30mpg at highway speeds (70-75). I haven't driven in city traffic enough to determine city fuel economy though.
