Cefiro's Installed

Well finally did it and I am very happy the way it came out...gap is not bad at all!!!

I still have to add weather stripping to cover the gaps.

Thanks to my fellow NYCMaximas members since they did all the work as I cried as my baby was being cut

Very nice. I've dealt with that gap for a while and have all but forgotten about it. The dark color hides it pretty well. Again, Good job. They look Awesome as does the rest of the car.

I have an SE and well went from the Skyline Kit (Integrated Grill) to the MBumper, I actually don't mind the chrome grill goes better with the OEM Cefiros.

As for the corner lights, the guys trim away on certain areas and made the stock ones fit into the actual headlight...here are some night shots, I will take away shots soon enough

And yes I know I have to get brighter bulbs / HID's

I've wanted Cefiro headlights for some time now, but the installation has always bothered me a bit. Where did you get them, how much, and what exactly needed to be cut away? Actually is there a link anywhere for install? The stickies don't have anything that I could see.

I got them at a good deal from someone here, but you can always go my sponsor's site for pricing on the OEM (Which are the ones I have) or the "JDM" Smoked ones: http://redlinemax.com/catalog/produc...54558ea5301c4f

Just tell him that ChinoX sent you and he'll hook you up!

Write up is also at RedlineMax.Com : http://www.redlinemax.com/3/CefiroWriteup.htm

i think he means the fitment isn't exactly perfect, he's prolly somewhat of a perfectionist, like me... i think they'd look better also if they were to fit better.. they do look a little off, but still cool looking nonetheless.. this is why i wouldnt buy cefiro's i think, too much of a pain in the a$$.

as much as you guys may like them they still have gaps. say all you want but i can still see them. it would kill me to see them, heck i think they look like azz. Someone swap I30 parts or get some body work already and lose the gaps.

BUT i do like the output of the OEM ones.

look if you read from the 1st page i said something to effect of i need to fix the gap i have cuz im still not fully happy. well i was excited cuz this looks 100 times better than stock. yeah i got gaps. the damn lights aren't supossed to fit the car perfect. and im fixin it. i just dont have time to do this **** right now. i was just thinkin i havent posted any pics yet and i never see white maxes with smoked cefiroes. why hate?

also i dont really care what you think cuz i like it and im going to do it. and all i get is compliments on them. but no one likes to hear something like that. show some class and have a little tact bro. im done. those are my pics - hate it or love it.

Hey this is off topic but, I see your max is bigger than mine ! . . . no just kidding what year is your max? I want to get that grill (the nice chrome one) and I have a local parts store just need to know the year and model (se, gle, gxe) that uses that black chrome grill with the single horizontal chrome line and the good ol nissan badge on it, I am thinking its the '99 SE?

The grill with the bar across the middle are the 97-99 Maximas, GXE and GLE have chrome ones, SE are colored to match the body...like i posted early in this thread I have an SE but had the Skyline Kit with integrated grill so I sold my old grill, the chrome one was the one i found and I like the way it flows with the OEM lights
