Curious to know, do these maxima engines have a constant ticking sound?

yeah i get that too when i'm idling at a light or in my driveway. Was wondering the same thing last night

I have ticking too... BlackBIRDVQ said mine sounded like a sticking lifter... our injectors do tend to tick - so that might be all you are hearing.

loud *** injectors. I dont like it, I would prefer a smooth sound, but as long as everything is functionaly, I'm ok.

yea it's not quite as loud as a lifter, but its a constant tick tick tick that i can hear when im at idle or in a drive thru
