wat would cause a ks .......

what would cause a knock sensor code to turn on every 150-200 miles? i thought if a knock sensor is bad it the code should always be there, right?

Is that the only code that is being reported? Is the CEL on?

Fix the Evap system code first. Then worry about the KS.

If the KS code only started showing up recently, then it's likely you have a bad KS. I would still recommend fixing the EVAP code before replacing the KS. As you probably know, the KS code is known to show up as a dummy code with a variety of other legitimate failures (O2, misfires, etc.).

I agree with njmodi everyone seems to have knock sensor problem. Replace it and reset the ECU and you'll be good to go.

Other problems trip the KS.

Fix your other issues or take it to a nissan tech to hook it to a machine to tell u exactly what it is.
