Aftermarket Tensioner fittment

Has anyone had any fittment issues with the Aftermarket Guide Tensioners, are they redesigned like the OEM parts or will they still fit through the Access panel

You're talking about the accessory belt tensioner, right? Sorry don't have any info for you but if that's what you're talking about I'd be curious where you get them at... having a hard time with the GF's max.

No - he is talking about the timing chain tensioner. I haven't been able to find a tensioner assembly anywhere but the dealer. rockauto.com have a idler pulley listed, but I don't know if that includes the tensioner bracket/bolt. You could call and check.

they say that they could order it for me at autozone for about $50 (don't really know if they're Aftermarket or Dealership really has their prices jacked up $80) I just wanna know if there is any 2" tensioners available and where can I get 'em (stealership tensioners are 2 1/4" and don't fit through panel anymore) does chain guide SLA kit have 2" tensioner or is that updated too?

Dexter - my apologies for the confusion. My comments on the aftermarket tensioner were for a belt-tensioner (that the other poster commented on), not no the timing chain tensioner.

Sorry again
