lol this is bs

So i decided to amuse myself and go to the "Jet Performance" web site. Low and behold they have a dyno for a 98 maxima with and without the chip. If you just look at the shape of the graph you can tell its just TOTAL bs. Maximas with the stock intake manifolds don't reach peak hp at 6500 rpm....they reach peak at about 5k and then drop. http://jetchip.com/pdf/dyno/nissan/1...ima%203.0L.pdf

You can report this to the FTC. Or we can all buy them and then sue them for fraud.

they do with the jet chip. they use microsoft wordup to modifiy their ecu's. the only reason i switched to jwt was cause jet had a turn around time of about aweek and i wanted the 3 months down time that jwt gave.hands down jet is the best bang for the modd if you plan on paying with food stamps

i think it would be worth the effort if you could get a free chip, then sell it and use the ca$h towards a JWT ECU

why wouldn't it be legit? its a pipe with a filter. It'll work fine, but its gonna end up being about 80 bucks. I would rather just put a filter on your stock piping(popcharger)

if that is a picture of the actual product, it might not work because it looks like the maf sensor is missing.

But as far as performance ...

O, and don't be mad at Jet, they have to find some way to sell their POS chip

Maybe they should season and flavor them, because Doritos sell just fine ... And so do Pringles.
