realize theres another cat conv thread but need ur input

well honestly i don't like how my car sounds. its pretty loud and kinda drones on deceleration and slightly rasps in the high end. as stated in sig, i have

y-pipe aluminized
CM resonated straight pipe
apexi ws2 exhaust

when i first installed the straight pipe (no y-pipe, or exhaust) there was no sound difference at all. but considering what most said about OEM or soposebly high flow cats being quieter, will it make any reduction of sound level? anyone every played around with this?

are all cats almost the same? theres
magnaflow
warpspeeds on ebay
CMs
OEM

They're all the same ... if you want the rasp to go away or sound reduction, get a resonator on the b-pipe. ...
