Not something I would do with my car, but it is creative and if you don't have the $ for a real kit, the price you paid for that is good... I do also agree with you on wanting to spend money on the motor but I also like mine to look good too....

man, all you have to do is make a fiberglass one, use some tinfoil for the shape, lay the fiberglass over it with a few good layers of it and it can turn out nice.....( lots of sanding too) hmmmmm, now im thinking i might try this....... one thing for sure it looks simple and a fiberglass one would be nice imo

someone show the pic of the one that looks just like this one made by a real company...

86maxima96--my first time was my dash and console and they turned out great. it just takes time and a little know how. get some resin and the hardner,( mix it right) some fiberglass cloth, some polyster filler with hardner( mix it right is the key on both) and go to town. sand down really goog whatever your gonna fiberglass over ( clean it first) and take your time, read up on it a little bit. it can be done. try something small first like the glove box, its the perfect piece for a first timer. and its all about sanding and no air bubbles, none. pm me and i can go a little further in detail. later

negative, there isn't much that could ruin the look of that car, and that lip definitely does not qualify

i believe the reason that he put it on is that the lower edge of his air damb got scrached up so he installed that lip to hide the dammage and to prevent it from happening again

Agreed. The sides of that car are not low enough for that ghetto-lip. I wont hate too much though, as overall that old-school Z looks pretty mean.

Ive seen someone do this with black trim and i must say it looked hot

this does not look good, maybe because its to plain to be painted, and the screws just put the cherry on top...

If any one has the black version please post a pic..

Oh no! Epic bump to the ludalip thread. lol

That's cool man, get some pics up. BTW, did you check out the other thread titled something along the lines of "DIY cheap lip" or something? That might still be floating around the first 3-5 pages or so. In my opinion, I honestly think that one (which is garage door seal) actually looks better than the ludalip idea in this thread.

Just thought it might be worth checkin out.

Looks OK, I would cut a piece or two, or three out so it looks more like a kit. Thats just me.
