Here's a video of me vs. mevi/jwt ecu equipped Max

I ran 14.6@96mph with I/Y/MEVI
I ran 14.3@99mph with I/Y/MEVI/JWT
The JWT does work and work well it does. It completely opens up the powerband and restores the lost midrange power.

I never once heard the change in induction noise with the Summit and I verified it was working (hood up). I was convinced it was causing the valves to flap open/closed. When I took the car to the track, I was stuck in the 14.6 range with the Summit switch. I went back 2 weeks later with the Harlan and was running 14.3s. I can't tell you why the Summit wouldn't work under load. My Harlan worked 90% of the time and when it failed, I had the solenoid hooked to a manual switch next to the shifter. The Summit would flake out if I used this toggle switch, but the Harlan was completely fine. The toggle worked 100% of the time and was useful at the track. Once I hit 5200rpms in 2nd at the track, I hit the toggle and left the valves open the rest of the run. Do it this way took away the chance of blowing a run if the switch flaked out.The toggle was fun because you could flap the valve open/closed and the induction noise would change with each switch.

Seems quite expensive for Americans to re-map a Japanese ECU

Right, it gave you (x) power at all those lower RPMs......I see that, but is that all it's supposed to do?

I <3 my USIM.
and I was on a TechnoSquare ECU when I ran a 14.25 @ 95.38 mph
Your times are great, but traps suck ..
Seems like you do well, but start running out of steam toward the end of the 1320 .. I've seen TL's do 14.6 @ 97+ .. hmmm ... .. .. .. Could it be the top end power ..

You didn't walk on him, you prob got on more than a half a car on him intill he keeps shutting off then you start to pull on him. Also someones car sounded like completely ricey. Maybe a civic was racing along with you guys? If his mevi was working it would be a diff story.

It's probly my car that sounds ricey, since Bruce has a stock muffler. Quit your
hating. I know if the mevi was opening properly his carwould have pulled a lot harder.

Dibs!
Keep the MEVI with the ECU man. If the MEVI is running right you'll start loving that thing. After all, you're spending most of your time in the high RPM's, might as well have the MEVI there to hold the horsepower up.
nice video, seems like the guy with the camera in the car is shifting a little too soon. maybe its just me. idk.
whats USIM stand for? i probly know i just cant figure it out
