anything that's not yellow/orange is considered illegal, most cops dont mess with you but you can get a ticket for it

I dont plan to after I sell the one set of I have left.

One set of COMPLETE PnP tails(need to open and fix a few things)

Just the body work is $2400.00 in Primer. The lights were $850.00 (back in y2k). Another $1200.00 for a complete paint job in Arctic Pearl. Not including the rest of the body kit, shaving the door ding strips, modifying the bodykit to fit, modifying the wing to fit, the total is...waaay too much $$$.

Wow You brave soul I love standing out and having something others dont have but I couldnt shell out about $4450 just for tail lights. You could Boost the car for that much, you could vq 35 swap, or you could 00vi +y+greddy SP+coilovers+SFACII+tuning+full maintinance sevice (spakrs, tranny flush etc) and have a whole lot of change left over.

I couldnt do it. . . Actually you could buy another 4th gen!

I totally agree. I started this in 2000, and it is still not finished The problem now is that it is about the same amount of money to have it changed back to stock. Hind-sight is 20/20

Best thing to do would be decide on a base, and then mod then via tint, leds, or what ever.
Although I put back on the red/clears I'm getting that feeling just like you to put in the Gen IIs again.

WHat happened to the key hole on your trunk??

the lights aren't really as bright as they look in the picture, i guess the red/blue contrast freaked out my camera, creating the illusion that the red is extraordinarely bright. i used that candy apple red paint on them that matches the stock color, so they are in fact the same shade as the stock taillights

i hate how they look now with the new paint so as soon as funds allow i will be getting the CF trunklid and some red clears... or Kevlo's last set of LED tails if i have an extra 1k to spend on just the trunk
