Well, today I took some time out and looked at my OD button on my shifter... I initially thought it was a loose connection going to the switch, but after looking at it today; it seems dead. I removed the entire ****er assembly, *thoroughly* cleaned the switch with "Contact Cleaner" and reassembled without luck. I tested the wires going to the switch and they work fine when grounded (turns the OD off, light comes on gauge cluster). Any ideas on this? Perhaps I do need a new shifter... Any ideas on a aftermarket shifter (besides the Levoc, which I don't like...) or perhaps a good deal on a new/used stock shifter?? Any help is appreciated... I really need that switch to function in my daily driving/highway driving... This is my first problem with my '97 in 13 months... Doh!
