Electrical / Ground issues!! Need help!

Hey guys,
My Max is starting to have an electrical issue. Occasionally it wants to barely start, but then it will start up normally 2 seconds later. Out of 20 starts it will act up 2-3 times. This is only part of my problem. The radio (sound) will occasionally stop working on 1 or 2 speakers, then work normally again. My wife mainly drives the car and she claims sometimes when she accelerates and turns on the radio the engine hesitates?

My immediate thought is…one or more of the ground wires is either loose, or rusty and not making a good or complete contact. I popped the hood and located some grounds on the passenger side of the engine compartment. They look a little rusty where they attach to the body. I bought some sandpaper and Vaseline to remove the rust, and create a water/moisture barrier. I’ve got the huge factory shop manual, but cannot find it. My big question is…where are all the ground wires in the engine compartment? Where are the “main” ones?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
