SP2.... Burnt Hamburgers?

hey guys. just installed my SP2 catback yesterday and when driving it, it smells like burnt hamburgers? thats the best i can explain it. So i asked my dad to drive it and it was blowing out a tad bit of smoke when revved. Is this normal?

And one more question. Does it "break in" and get deeper/louder? right now its as quiet as stock. I have a warpy ypipe too.

Just thought id ask.

Sean

Yes... Don't worry about it...
It's all brand new piping, it'll take a few days and some hard driving to get it break in good....
It'll get louder also, so don't worry

The smell will go away after a little driving... its just burning of any oil/grease/contaminants left on the metal from assembly/manufacturing.

I don't see how the sound will change over time?

yea it takes a lil while for it to "break in." plus greddy exhausts are designed so you dont hear it inside the car. mine took at least a month before it really started to growl. now its just a really nice tuned sound. the smoke and smell will go away soon. good call on the sp2. its the best one you can buy (well in my opinion)

check mine out http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2104185

movie/sound clips coming soon

Sorry my immagination got the best of me, I read SP2 and then burnt hamburgers... any joke could be made from just reading that. . .

the sp2 burnt my hamburgers. . .

sp2 exhaust smells like burnt hamburgers (which actually turned out to be the case)

nevermind. . . apparently my humor only really works on myself and a select few

Why would you want your car to smell like a skank?
