how to re-attatch muffler?

One of my exhaust hangers just broke and apparently another one was allready rusted off, so when it dropped, the pipe coming off of the rear of my muffler sheered right through.I've allready rehung the rest of the pipes. Can I just use a rubber or aluminum coupling to attatch the pipe?

I'm going to purchase a new exhaust in the future but I need to fix it now so I can drive it until then.

If I understand correctly, you are saying that the b-pipe seperated from the muffler.. is that right?

If yes, I don't think there is any good way for you to reattach the two.. you can have a muffler shop try weld them pipe back togther, but it's unlikely they'll take it on... given that your existing piping is already really rusted.

You might need to get a new exhaust sooner than you'd like
