i have a 97 Se maxima, the alternator/battery are junk. Im going down to my mechanic now to pick it up. I remember some thread about a recall on some year for the alternator. Just seeing if somebody can link me up to it.

the alternator recall applies to late 97's and early 98's

So if your car was made inbetween 3/1997 and 7/1997 you can get a free alternator

actually from 2/97 to 2/98, mine was 1/98 so I had the recall done on my Max
