Agreed, I never liked the two, rear dinky pieces of the Stillen kit. The front is awesome (especial '97/'99), the sides are perfect and the rear is..... eh.

You had a really nice car...sad to see the car leave the community. At least you are moving on up in the ranks though.

I like the stillen rear piece. Subtle is key.

You hit the nail on the head. Its a max, TRY and keep elegant looking. A max should not have some sick over sized getup

How about extending the stillen rear across the entire bumper? I think it would look a hell of a lot better if done right. Here's a quick chop I did (hope you don't mind Mike):

I'm also thinking how rear lower diffusers would look. Maybe two small fins hanging down. I'll try to chop that but with my limited n00b skills it will be more difficult.

you're kidding right, thats probably the nicest maxima on the .org as far as I'm concerned. looks wize that is..I've seen a lot of the "deafult .org" maximas, but I think Mike def. did something special with his, too bad he doesn't still have the paradox rear window spoiler, that was another clean add-on. Plus he threw the classics off by doing EV-S instead of EVo5's, props for that. the AE headlight/ HID combo goes quite nicely with that color more so than the black on black combo I've commonly seen. Even though this thread has been dead a while I had to come back to that.

BACK TO TOPIC.

I think the extension shown above looks much better and be your solution vs. doing Sarona or something else a little more dramatic.

I like the stillen kit as it is, but from time to time, I guess just seeing the two rear pieces can drive you batty. It does not bother me at all. The extended lip is an idea though. Alot of times I get compliments about my car because of the tastefulness of the stillen kit. It has the best rear valences on any kit I've seen for the max IMO.

Stillen side skirts and rear valences look bad trust me, they are not noticeable and are very, very, very, did I say VERY? subtle add-ons. Sarona Ver. 1 rear bumper, Sarona sides, with Stillen Front lip FTMFW.

In my opinion, the Stillen front with Sarona sides and rear looks VERY clean, VERY classy, and above all VERY SEXY.

that is good, i like it whene you can tell something is done, but you don;t know what. it looks classy and not over done.....

ceasers kit does look nice.

that kit above has a hidious rear. looks like a back of a saab form the mid 90's

In my opinion, a car looks much classier when the kit is very subtle and compliments the lines, not something that screams "look at me". I love getting comments when people tell me that my car looks like it came from the factory as it is now.

bingo. i cant stand the gaudy body kits that are huge and bloated. they look out of place on the car!

subtle, smooth lines, that look natural. thats whats nice. you see it and go wow that looks sharp.. but wait.. thats not.. normal....

see if ionic would take any interest in the new rear lip. they would only have to trim up their one-piece rear lip that has the exhaust surround.

At least they wrap around a little bit unlike the Ionic rear valances which don't wrap around at all. But it would be sweet if stillen lengthened the left rear valance to extend all the way to the exhaust tip...that'd be cool.
