Piston Spinning

So i put together the front spring/strut system, now for the rears im stuck. I can't torque down the bolt in the middle(the piston bolt). I installed it into the car and then when the bolt just gets tight, it will spin the piston with the bolt so i can't get any tighter. How can i hold that piston without grabing it? i know if you damage the piston, the seal is done. I could compress the spring and put the bolt down far and maybe the pressure will hold that piston so i can check ft/lbs but i already have it installed on car. ...... i know someone has had this problem.

Pliers?? Vice-grips?? Adjustable wrench?? There's a flat little area at the top of the piston designed specifacally to grab on to with one of those 3 things.

Your installing Illuminas correct? Then you only tighten the nut until it bottoms out on the threads, when the piston starts turning, the nut is on all the way. Then put the locking nut on top and give it a slight tug.

That's it, your done.
