New headlights, now I run lean?

Ever since I installed new headlights, I keep leaning out. I brought it to a local speed shop and dyno/ a/f test and sure enough when my head lights were on it went from 12 a/f to 15 a/f, and when the high beams are on it leans out even more. if connfused the operators, they thought it was electrical. oh and when i turn on my blinker the car runs pig rich. I have an afc for tuning. I know this sounds stupind, and doenst make any since but can any one help me? and do you think NOS octane booster would help?

I'm in pure shock. Never heard of a/f being altered by the headlights being on!

It logically has to be caused by the current draw... I'm picking bad ground somewhere.. with the blinker pulsing the power off and on must all be filtering through to your injection

Too much load on the alternator. Add new grounds and clean the old ones. What shape is hte batt in? Go get the batt and alternator tested at Autozone for free.

Find a seperate power source and ground for your A/F controller. A direct line to your Battery with some nice new wire will probably stop that from happening.

As soon as I saw this post I thought, "Man I need to ask this guy if he checked his blinker fluid..." you beat me to it. But seriously yeah something is pulling enough current to either cause your fuel injectors to not put out as much as they should or maybe throw your sensors off. No idea though I'm just guessing

I can see that you will get optimum afr with the right combination of headlights, right blinker, stereo volume and dome light.
