Your car is slammed compared to mine.

I have H-Techs and they are def stiffer. If you're worried about a rough ride get pair the springs with adjustable struts. Stock struts will def blow quick.

S-techs don't even drop it that much.... i'm at 2 finger gap front and back with S-techs. If you don't want so big a drop get some H&R's and some basic strut replacements

I am running sprints, if you are looking for comfort try eibach or h&r? Depends on your strut setting also

I have the H-Tech by TEIN... they are softer than my Eibachs and Intrax.. Moderated drop. Great for all around driving but not the best if you want to autocross or drive like a maniac (neither of which I care about).

I want to revive this thread just to make an important point. The TEIN H-Techs (for 4th gen, at least) are indeed quite soft. They are still stiffer than stock SE springs, of course. TEIN says in the instructions NOT to cut the stock bumpstops. I have found out the hard way that they are right. Basically, they designed the springs too soft for the drop. It makes for a relatively comfy ride and still decent handling, but they probably should have made them stiffer at the top.

I cut my front bumpstops by the Org-recommended inch or so. Afterward, I started bottoming out all around town. Any bump that was medium or large would cause a loud crash that made me cringe. It was extremely unenjoyable, and it's not good for the struts or the car itself. This happened regardless of the strut stiffness settings (I have Illuminas).

Two days ago I installed new stock bumpstops with dustboots and the problem is gone. The full length foam bumpstops do the job at slowing down the suspension at the top of travel so that you don't bottom out as much and when you do it's much less painful.

So my plea to anyone who has or is planning to install H-Techs: DO NOT CUT YOUR BUMPSTOPS. Ignore the legions of Org members who will tell you you are stupid not to cut them. Replacement Nissan bumpstops are only about $30 a pair but you can't uncut the bumpstops after you've cut them and it's a pain to take apart the suspension multiple times.

Repeat: DO NOT CUT YOUR BUMPSTOPS IF YOU HAVE H-TECHS.

Are you talking to me? If so I don't understand what you're trying to say. I'm not angry at all. I am enthusiastic about suspension modification and tuning.

Im running H&R's myself on KYB's- the drop is mediocre, its not slammed but its a very noticable drop and it rides near stock. Very happy with the setup.

The suspension is the weakest part of the 4th gen Max so it's what I've focused on in my modding.

Clay tablet, LMAO, good one! The reason I brought back this thread is that it's devoted to H-Techs and I'd rather not start a new thread when there are a billion redundant threads on the Org as is. But with people posting about H&Rs here and some of the original posters obviously confusing H-Techs and S-Techs, this thread is pretty bananas.
