where to get rpm signal?
where to get rpm signal?
dont hate but ive seen like 10 differnt posts but no one says what to tap for a rpm source that is the best. i will take a risk and assume if i take the gauge cluster out and splice into the green wires screw on the back that is a clean rpm signal? or should i splice somwhere else? just need to know and im sick of looking for the answer lol -Ryan
what? theres three wires on the back of the gauge cluster one red one black and one green obviously red and black have to be power and ground im asking if i can just splice into the green one for a clean rpm source and call it a day

well ditched the harlan for a summit, still trying to tap the ECU for rpm signal now. i used a quick connect on the Green wire with a white stripe was that right? cause it didnt work on my falty harlan lol. how come in Jimes pinout from his site it says the tachometer wire is Green only not green w/ white stripe? if im right then i should be fine with the summit like that right?
