Replacing O2 Sensors?

The two front ones, apparently, code 0503 & 0303.

1. What is the cheapest place to buy? Which brand should I use?

2. How much does it cost for the labor at a shop or stealership?

3. Is it easy to do yourself (my level of competense does not exceed past doing my own oil change)? If so, is there a better writeup (w/ pics) than the one in stickies?

Thank You!!

1. oxygensensors.com, bosch OEM equivalents (70 bucks each)
2. probably 1 hour for both sensors (they may not let you provide the parts though)
3. yes, get a Haynes manual for 20 bucks.

If you know how to use a ratchet and disconnect connectors then you can change out O2 sensors.

Buy them from oxygensensors.com as suggested. Wait for the codes for the other two and do only the rear for now. Check the stickys for my "how to"

autozone.com - there was a recent thread (in the past two pages I would guess) that with a particular zipcode the sensors come up as 19.99 each (front).

The deal that you guys are talking about from autozone.com is only for the front O2 sensors. When I searched for the rear is came up as 59.99. Does anyone know of a really good deal on the rear? My car isn't really running all that great right now and I am just going to go ahead and change out my knock sensor and all 3 O2 sensors. I ordered the front 2 from autozone already and my knock sensor from ebay ($70 look for the thread), but I'm still looking for a deal on the rear O2 sensor. Anything cheaper that $60?

Put in my area code instead of yours and it will come up as $19.99

Just to clarify - the deal is for a Bosch Universal sensor... not OEM connector.. so you'll have to splice in your old connector... not a big deal given the great price!!!

ditto, takes about the same amount of time to jack the car up, put the jack stands under it, and find the O2 sensor. Sometimes you might need to get or borrow a sensor socket from autozone.

In the other thread is says that the $19.99 o2 sensor is the front. It gave a similar part number for the rear, but that comes up as $59.99 even under the zip code i used to order the fronts for $19.99. You were able to order the rear sensor for $19.99 too? Or was that just the front?

? The rears don't matter? Should I not worry about replacing the rear sensor? I'd really like to do everything at once so I won't have to worry about anything for a while. I already ordered the knock sensor and the front o2s, but I was looking for a deal on the rear o2.

The rear serves as a check for the cat but does not affect performance when malfunctioning.
