When the fan is on 1 or 2 there is a squeaking sound coming from the right front vent. It goes away a little bit when the fan is on 3 or 4, but comes back when I turn it down. Maybe it's the fan? or motor? Any idea of how easy it is to fix or do I just have to live with it. Thanks for the help.

 

put a rat trap in there...see what u get.

I haven't had a squeak yet but occasionally on cold days I hear a rattling. I am alomost sure its the fan itself inside the dash just barely hitting something. It doesn't effect cooling or heating performance and usually goes away after a few minutes of driving. Those small things on my 96 I just let go. My car is awesome but it is close to ten years old. There's just gonna be a few sqeaks and quirks with the age of the vehicle.
