melting im meltingggggggggg

sh*t my cefiros, the corner light cover is melting(the orange part that goes over the bulb), right now its alittle deformed but not to bad, what can i do, can i stop this?

Do you have brighter bulbs in the sockets? if so maybe switch them for stock.

na i had the clearence mod when i had the stock headlights and that didnt melt anything. the bulbs im using are stock, is there any bulbs that are less powerfull?

probably knock off housings and the shoddy plastic isnt the same quality as OEM, and thats why the temps are affecting this one... thats my venture at a guess

that would be correct...its just the low quality of the plastic housing of the aftermarket...at least the "Eagle Eyes" brand cefiros, they are cheaply made

yea thats them eagle eyes, i ended up just disconecting both my sidelights before they started to melt anymore, i actualy like the way it looks with just the headlights on. anyone know if its illegal to not have sidelights.

if you need a replacement cefiro headlamp, let me know, i have one. i just converted my front end to a 1997 style. and i had cefiro's before. in almost perfect condition. no melting, and no scrathes on the lense, just dirty. i waxed it last spring.



comes with the boot that surrounds h4 bulb

dang i was considering buying some of these but i dont want them to melt...that sucks.

or you can just replace the bulb with a LED bulb, no more melting and the best color around.

Yeah, an led bulb should produce very little heat at all.

I wired mine in to use the low current. The high current will cause even the oem to melt. I also wired in the high filament to flash with the corner light. Looks tight.
