You guys are really bad today.

Mizmo, you need to change the springs on the car to lower the stance. There are several brands out there. H&R and Eibach are probably the best springs as far as ride and handling goes. They drop the car about 1.5 inches. You will also need new front struts and rear shocks. Tokico, KYB and Koni make replacement units that will give you the added control to handle a more agressive sport spring.

the thing that's funny isn't that you asked about lowering your car. lots of people ask that and they often have legitimate questions, although in your case you could have found your answer with some simple research.

the funny part is that you asked about doing a BODY DROP on your maxima. you can't (well, maybe it's possible, but why?) do a body drop on a unibody car. so for all the people making fun of you, it wasn't because you asked about lowering your car, it was because you basically asked something just as dumb as asking if the tornado fuel saver will really give you 50 more horsepower. i don't know if this was just a typo or what, but that's why.

njmax's post has all the info you need. lowering will run you $500-600-ish for the struts and springs, and then a little more for miscellaneous parts you'll need to replace.

ps. install it yourself.
