Airbag light blinking

After I had my alternator replaced, the airbag light has been blinking all the time. I tried reseting the ecu but that didn't make it go away. Is it the fuse? Any suggestions? It's getting rather annoying.

Just making sure that your SRS system is currently disabled - i.e. the bags will not deploy in case of an accident.

The SRS computer has dectected a fault with the system. Until the fault is corrected and the system reset, your airbags may not deploy in the case of an accident.

There is a procedure in the stickies on how to reset the light - it is different from the ECU reset procedure.
