can ne of u give me a lil run down on stick driving? i want to learn and i have the basic idea how to do it, but i need to know when to shift up and down and how to get more speed

 

Play some Gran Turismo 2 with a nice FWD/front engine car :) Seriously, I think that would be a good way to get the idea of when to shift.

When I was learning, I focused on upshifting smoothly, and I would usually just put it in neutral and brake to a stop. I mostly only needed to downshift on the freeway, from 5th to 4th (okay maybe 3rd :)

Just drive around a lot... soon you will feel the love and shifting up and down will be second nature.
