No coolant in coolant resoirvoir '97 with VQ35

While cleaning up my throttle body I noticed that were was no coolant in the coolant resoirvoir, so I opened up the cap and saw very little fluid there, the car was cold by the way. Any ideas? I have no leaks, temp. gauge stays in the middle.

Yeah check to see if the radiator is full. Just add some distilled water to the reservior.

I think he did check the radiator... I believe that's what he meant by ... (but I see how he could have meant the reservoir cap, not the radiator cap).

I initially interpreted that to mean the overflow reservoir, that's why I asked if he checked the radiator. If he had no coolant in his radiator, that's a totally different kettle of fish.

Radiator itself was full, over flow resoirvoir, resoirvoir to by the washer fluid resoirvoir was nearly empty. Radiator I topped off with a few drops of more antifreeze coolant. I'm talking about the overflow resoirvoir.

Your engine is shot, face it Harris, you trashed the car already.

Just top the system off a little, it's only slight evaporation over summer months of really hot weather. Now it's cold so the system contracts more showing the slight loss in coolant.

Try checking your tire pressure tomorrow first thing in the morning.
But please don't post a question about why it lost air.

You will find that over time your gas tank level will drop too, particularly as the days get shorter.

That's so timely... I was wondering why my car was feeling a little rougher on the highways yesterday and sure enough, I looked at my tires this morning and they were all "looking" low. I checked the pressure and they were all down to 25psi. It's gotten quite cool here over the past two days... I added air and now its

Its weird that you mange to drain the overflow container mine (only vq30) never really shifts much from the full mark
