Did your guys 98 Maxima SE come with a muffler tip ( chrome) cuz mine didn't i noticed it the other day......

You must have a "bare bones" SE model as yours doesn't have the "Comfort and Convenience Package". Do you have:

A) A Power Seat
B) Variable Intermittent Wipers (has a **** you can turn on the wiper stalk to set the delay yourself)
C) Keyless Entry

If not, then you probably have the "bare bones" model.


You can buy just the muffler tip from any Nissan dealer. Just ask for a "chrome exhaust finisher" for a 98 Maxima. It should be $25 or so.....

Also, you can get the variable intermittent wiper stalk for around $40.

Probably the only option you would have would be an automatic tranny (unless you're 5-speed equipped).

No, well my SE is fully loaded..leather, heated seats, int. wiper control, power seats, Bose...etc etc.

yep, brand new....but i dont know whats the deal with this car. I have had so many problems! I even took Nissan to the B.B.B cuz they wouldn't fix some of my issues which were under warrenty.
