i might be making a mesh grill for my lower front from home depot, but i have heard that if you block the air flow into the engine by a small percentage it might over heat. is the open front bumper made for air flow to cool the engine or not?

i decided it would look good so i cut me some pieces, spray painted it chrome with rust-o-leum metallic finish, to give it more shine.. and took off the grill and hot glued them on (it worked really good.. the glue stuck to the plastic really well).. it looks really good, and i recommend it.. its also very cheap, i think they are like 88 cents for a piece.. and also i dont think it would block the air flow, and if it did not by much
