My RPMs are starting to jump in 4th and 5th so I think my clutch is wearing out. How much am I looking at to fix? Is it better to fix it now or wait until it completely wears out?

if you are flooring it and your rpms are jumping but the car isn't accelerating, then your clutch is starting to go. OEM clutches are around $250 plus labor.

You should fix as soon as practical. You never know when you really NEED to get out of harms way and you just set there with wheels (engine in this case) spinning.

What's the diffrence between an OEM clutch and ads in the paper that say "Clutch: parts and labor. $169 most cars. FWD extra" ??

They will put in a $20 dollar made in China, sold on Ebay clutch, which won't last more than 5k miles. An OEM clutch runs around $200 for the pp, disc, and throwout bearing, plus around 250 to 350 for labor and flywheel resurfacing, depending on where you go.

If you ever plan to put down some power. I would suggest going with a SPEC or something along those lines.
Pedal feels just like stock, but grips really nice... Stock can't compare.

OEM 5th gen is the way to go. OEM will outlast any aftermarket clutch, civil but firm engagement, and it's pretty inexpensive.

What 5th gen clutch parts are required? Just the pressure plate, throwout bearing and disc? Can they be ordered online?
