Alternator saga

My alternator went on me a few weeks back. It caught fire(lucky for me it was in my parking lot), I leaned over and blew it out. I then had the car towed to a local shop to replace the alternator. While the car was in the shop I found out there is a recall on the alternators. GREAT... now that the new alternator is installed, I can't return it. When I picked up the car from the shop, the "check engine" light was on. The shop said it was a result of the fire... along with a few blown fuses. I couldn't prove this to be true because I didn't turn the car on after the fire. It could've been the shop who caused this condition.

I checked the codes today, and I got 6 codes. 01_03, 08_01, 08_07, 09_03, 10_05, and 13_02.

Could these codes be "faulty"? I hope I didn't get ALL these problems from a simple alternator replacement. At any rate, I have an appointment to get the alternator recall from Nissan and get re-imbursed for the "new" alternator from Nissan USA.

WOW, has it been 2 years already!?

I know what the codes represent. My question was, does anyone think the codes could be "faulty". Meaning, can I actually get six codes after replacing an alternator.

Kevlo911: thanks to you and mzmtg, I had already gotten the codes and what they mean. I just had that question running through my thoughts. That's all.

Cleared!!!

My check engine light has cleared!!!
Just like I thought. ALL of the codes are gone... I think.
I woke up today to go to the store and the check engine light was clear. I will check the codes again a little later. I'll cross my fingers in hopes that they are actually gone.

EDIT: STUPID ME!!! I knew about the alternator recall before http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=202534 but didn't get it done.
