Car feels bogged down.... like im dragging a dead body

Hey, today i replaced the air filters because my car feels like im draginng a fat person. THe powers their im just not feeling it. All recent maitenance done besides plugs. Air filter, pcv valve, tb cleaning, aicv cleaning, Intake manifold cleaning, fuel filter, all that basic fun stuff. Its just not feeling the samae anyone know what it could be. Accelerates perfect the onl thing i could thing of is maybe the mass airflow ? Im also currently getting these weird starts. Cracks and turnsover immediatly but if you watch and listen the car like goes up and stumbles to get the idle to stay normal. ECTS was just replaced.

Check the ECU for the famous knock sensor code.
Have you checked to see that your not dragging the last guy you ran over?

checked the ecu earlier. The only code i pulled out was 0102(Mass air flow) Because i unplugged it while the car was running. And 0702 (O2 sensor) Because i have a 96 ecu in my 97. Other than that theirs no codes.

well i figured it out the hard starts are due to hotter weather, along with the engine being bogged down. But what parts are affected due to hot weather ?

do u heard pounding or knocking or some other type of noise ? Cuz I would think thats a "code" to you from the guy under the car to get him outta there. lol jp dude.
Did you make sure you replugged all the connectors to their orginal spots ?
Check sensors, is my recommendation, especially knock sensor, cuz if that goes out then power will be :blows rasberry:

well because when i bought the car they had "added an extra ground to the mass airflow" it was a master tech at nissan. The spot he grounded it to was terrible and an extra ground in my opinion is not needed. So basically i cut the mass airflow wire off the totaled 95 max in my drive and soldered it back on to the one in my 97. But its been fine for a while i did that like 3 weeks ago. The reason i unpluged it was because i wanted to see what would happen. I had recently got a viper 791 xv installed and my car had just shut off while i was driving. No power steering, brakes etc.. All the dashboard lights came on and stuff. So i was like wtf. So i just wanted to see if it would happen if i unplugged the mass airflow since it had that "extra ground" connected to it with a butt connector. Forgot to mention the 96 ecu is a geforce ecu.

Why the hell would anyone do that when you ould just plug in the sensor ... Don't do that.

DcMaN, fix the hack job .. Master tech my anus. Better yet get a used MAF from www.car-part.com for under 50$. Mine has been in for over a year and still runs fine.

i did sir, i cut the mass airflow wire from my smashed up 95 and soldered it back up to the harness in my 97. Just trying to figure out why the car has hard starts in hotter weather, and why it affects engine performance.
