No more mobiltek. Choices are Transgo, Level 10, and Max tuning, thats IT. www.transgo.com www.level10.com and the other one was already posted.

Okay this may be a dumb question but does this mod make your car faster? It says its been shown to slow the car by 0.1 in the 1/4 which isnt really anything but what exactly does this mod do?

It's not a dumb question, more like a question that has been answered 10e^10 times with about as many opinions.

It speeds up the shifts in the auto transmission. Reducing wear on the transmission and speeding up the car... very slightly... and yes, this has been answered approx 1.2 million times now, but there is your answer... again...

Well you guys are very nice telling me the answer for the 10e^11th time I may just save up for it I'm all for a faster shifting automatic transmission with better transmission life.

so its 400 bux when u ship the stocker back to jeff. i got mine for 250 cause i got madd stuff done there. i guess thats the going rate now a days. mobiltek vb's are junk all they are is shimmed factory valve bodies thats part of the reason they are no longer in business.

No way. Do you know what they do?

They take the stock valve body, put new oem solenoids in, and drill the fluid hole a little larger so there is more pressure on a shift. Thats it. Depending on how large the hole is is the stage. It is very hard to do proper valving for all gears. Thats why the 1-2 is the most noticable, the 2-3 shift is a little better than stock, and the 3-4 shift is stock.

None sounds like how my VB behaves. All of the shifts are crisp and quick. Big improvement over the entire 1-2-3-4-OD. I didnt notice a diminished return through the higher gears.

I've had both DR mod and VB mod (II.5), the VB mod I have on my 03, and DR on my 95..

The DR mod is a bit more aggressive part throttle, that's why it's smart to have a WOT switch w/ DR mod ..

would you guys say its worth the $400 you spent?

i'm just trying to justify paying 4 bills to have some slightly bigger holes drilled in a stock part
