Possibly dumb question....
Hey guys, I don't know it might be the way its supposed to be, just want to make sure. When I turn the heat on(fan not AC) the RPMs go up a little(usually I have 600 and it goes to 800 and stays there while the fan is on). And I would like to ask if thats alright since I have had a friend to tell me that his max 5 spd also doesn't do it. If thats not good, could you tell me what could be wrong and how to fix it.Thanks a lot
P.S. I know it(RPMs) is supposed to go up a little with turning the AC on the question is not about that.

wow ...this is common sense ...if you turn on your fan, obviously the engine is gonna need to make a little more power ...so the engine does work a little harder, this is your rpms going up
if you have a climate controll if you use the auto button it turns the AC on no matter what temp you have it on, turn it on 85 and then turn it off open windows and listen close while you push the auto button again it turns the AC compressor on. Try the same thing again but this time push the econ button and you will NOT hear the click of the compressor turning on
thus your rpms wont change either. if you have a manual climate controlly then who knows. -Ryan

Lower Intake Manifold ....there are a few grounds there, and even though it's not tried and true, it worked for me, jsut giving you subtle choices in your hair splitting(extremely tedious) dillema
