any y pipe is all you need you dont need an exhaust system like other cars, ours is just fine if you havent noticed people running low 14's with stock catback. I would highly recomend Budget Y pipe. Other then that search around and find what you like as far as sound and youll be good. Theres alot of clips on the exhaust clip compilation sticky on the top of the 4th gen forums

Been a while since I've been on the board and the search function is not working. Is there a website for the budget Y pipe and the Cattman Y pipe?

http://www.lssexhaust.com/ <-budget its $200 US for SS model but you need to phone in your order as there in canada and of course like $250 canadian. Ive had both cattman and budget and the cattman has alot more quality as all his pieces do but for what is needed i see no point in spending the extra $150 over the budget when its basically the same thing

Go to www.motorvate.ca and look at the dyno curves for a Y-pipe and also a B-pipe, if memory serves me right.

did u install this y pipe yet? because if not dont and try your hardest to get your money back. I had two SMR y pipes and neither fit without extensive modifacation. DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT BUY A STONE MOUNTAIN RACING Y PIPE EVER!!!! or anything else from them!!!! -Ryan

*edit* i just read you said it worked good so im going to assume that its on your car? if so im also going to assume that you had a shop install it because theres no way a person with a jack and tools in a garage can get it to fit no matter what**

I have a Budget SS Y pipe, payed just over 220 shipped to IL. Have it about 3-4 months now, no problems at all. Also a friend in my area has same y-pipe on his max like 3 years now. Still perfect. So i say go for the Budget one.
As far as cat-backs, i still have stock but have been lookin around to get one. Most "good" cat-backs are gonne run ya around 500, give or take some.
Check this out for approx prices and what is out for our car. http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?MaximaPerformance
