Top Speed Pro - 1 Y Pipe
has anyone have one of these? I know that he sold a few here and some folks said that it was good and no "bees in the can" sound... impressive gains as all other aftermarket (precat less) Y pipes... was wondering what you guys thought about these Y's... the only thing that I dont like that it is a 2 piece Y and it is likely for more leaks... if you know what I mean... let me know..

I got it when they offered them for a hundred bucks or something like that. The 2 piece design actually helped me out because I figured I had a fed spec because I'm in PA and my bro who bought the car new bought it in PA. Little did I know they sell CA spec cars all over the place, so when we try to install the pipe to the header, we found out its CA spec. If it was a 1 piece design I would have been screwed.
Anyways, its a good pipe, good welds, and its stainless steel which is a big plus if you live in a snow state. However there is a little bees in the can noise, but nothing I can hear in the cabin unless I have my windows open and I'm driving by something that will echo the sound back at the car (i.e. a wall, a bunch of parked cars, etc.). It was a great buy for the money and when I get a Catman header, I will be able to install the extra pipe that was supplied for fed spec cars.
Also, if you used the proper crush ring and bolts to bolt the 2 pieces together, I don't see how you would have any problems with there being a leak from the 2 piece design.
