which is cheaper?

the current car 99 GXE aint mine , juss borrwing it couz my car died few months back, its my folks. I love the maxima, would be cheaper to pay my rents 3k for it it has 142k on it, we had the car since 11 miles on it. 130k on it driven was very featherly rarely saw 3500 rpm lol.

now that i have been drving it the auto tranny feels iffy, i kno nissan autos rnt great. so my quesiton wut is cheaper to buy a 97-99 maxima 5spd, or pay the 3k + w/e it would cost to install a 5spd on the car.

Depends what your area is like. Either way, it's going to be close in cost. Personally I'd keep the '99 and do the swap, because you know every single little thing about the car as opposed to potentially knowing little to nothing about a different car.

Elevated Bodyworks would (owned by .org member Tilleys99). He's in the Harrisburg area of PA, so it would only be a couple hour drive from wherever you're at.

....OR you could just find someone (like me) that has done it before, and knows what they're doing enough to help you out for little or no money. I've done the swap literally with a 30 dollar set of tools, and a 900 dollar parts car. The Grand total including fluids and other misc. parts was less than 1k.

and i'm 20 mins from you.
