Starting Problem In The Mornings

Okay heres the deal. In the morning when I start the car for the first time it starts then the rpms go down to 0 for 1-2 seconds and the engine light almost comes on but the car kicks itself back up to 1rpm. From there on when the engine is warmed up the car starts up fine. I have a new battery so I don't think that would be the problem. Has anyone else encounterd this? The rpms actually dip down to 0 and it sounds like the engine shut off until it kicks itself back to 1rpms. Service center couldn't duplicate the problem so maybe I'll make a video of it. But before that do you guys know anything about my problem?

Start by cleaning the Throttle body and the Idle Air Control valve.
If that doesn't work, check the engine coolant temp sensor.

I had a similar problem that cleared up after I cleaned the MAF sensor. Sprayed it down with some electrical cleaner. Good luck!

That sounds good. Hopefully its just that and not anything mechanical or anything. I'll clean the throttle body out.

It's not mechanical, it's fuel/electrical related ... ECTS, IACV, TPS.
