H3 Harness for high wattage lights?

H3 Harness for high wattage lights?
I just bought some new Nokya 9004 bulbs, along with a high wattage harness. I wanted to purchase some Nokya H3 bulbs, but have not seen any harnesses for the H3. Does anyone know if they upgraded harness is required or not? I would think it would be, with the added wattage.

How much more will the wattage be with the new h3 bulbs?

The Nokya H3 bulbs I believe are 80 watts.

I noticed PepBoys sells upgraded harness, not the Nokya fakes.

i melted the foglights not the harness with over watts.

You dont need an upgraded wiring harness for the 9004 bulbs....and the H3's you could probably get away with using the factory harness. I put in 100W bulbs in my foglights, and i upgraded, but i dont think that it was absolutely necessary. There are lots of people who have put in highter wattage bulbs, and have had no problems.

And there are also lots of people that have had their harness melt on them w/ the extra wattage? .. so are you saying?
