Clucth pedal problems...please help!

Well my clutch pedal will not come all the way up sometimes. Some times it just comes half way and stops there and i have to pull the remadnder distance with my foot back up to the top. What could this be, Slave cylinder?

also my clutch keeps adjusting itself. Sometime the release point will be high and sometimes it will be real low.

PLEASE HELP!

Have you checked the fluid level on the slave?

make sure your fluid level is good. If it isnt then you have a leak somewhere. Either at the SC or MC. In my car it was the MC that creadted the same symptoms that you are describing. Try to see if you can see either one leaking. If you cant I'd bet on the MC.

Also how many miles are on your car?

The fluid reservoir in on the MC not the SC. The SC is on the tranny and puches the fork when you press the clutch. Make sure to look closely for looks at both points.

If it is the MC it's not hard to change. The first time I changed one it took 30 minutes because i put it in wrong the first time and had to take it out.
