Boggled by what to replace my existing suspension with

Ok so my AGX's finally seem to be showing their age, and 3½ years in NYC streets woud be a considerable life expectancy, so ive decided on replacing them. It's a combo of AGX B&G right now, ride is ok, bumpstops were never trimmed nor did i have motivational rear strut mounts, which i plan to add to my next setup. Should i just go with AGX again? Switch to illuminas? Either would be with motivational rear strut mounts and trimmed bumpstops added.

Or if i go the coilover route, which i have no idea about which is what, Tein Coils? D2? JIC ALT2? Are the JIC worth the extra money? or will D2 or Tein be just as good? i wouldnt mind being another 0.2 inches lower in the front. I dont want to sacrifice ride, i need a relatively comfortable ride and not very bumpy, especially with 18" rims on NYC streets.
If i had the motivational rear strut mounts and trimmed bumpstops, even with the AGX again, i think they'll be ok. Are coilovers worth the extra money? will i need the motivational rear strut mounts and trimmed bumpstops with coilovers? Whatever info will helpful

well from what i hear, JIC is like the uber magnificant ferrari ipod in 1998 BEST coilover setup, but a friend of mine has tein basics on his 240, and i know its comparing apples to oranges, but with decent tires that thing grips like no other, no body roll, and a really nice drop. I'm planning on getting teins after winter, mostly because of cost.

AGX's have a limited lifetime warranty. KYB will replace it if it blows out or leaks. I didn't believe it myself, until I read about it on their website

If your on AGX with B&G springs and running 18's in NYC and feel the ride is good, then anything you throw in there will ride better.

I ran the B&G/AGX set up for about 30 days, then got rid of it. That was the worst set up I've ever driven on. Harsh doesn't even describe it well enough.

If your interested in ride comfort, I've got a set of H&R's with Motivational mounts for sale. Check the 4th gen classified section for my thread.

On NYC streets I would get Tein h techs and illuminas. Lifetime warranty is on the illuminas.

Ok, some people say get Ksports, some people say stick with springs/shocks combo...i dunno which route to go...
i know NYC roads are rough, but i mean with B&G AGX combo with no motivational rear strut mounts nor the bumpstops even cut, i had it pretty bad and the handling of the B&G's wasnt even all that great, i just never wanted to spend the money again to swap it out until now. People say Ksports ride is supposed to be really good, nice and firm, and i had my AGXs set at 3 front, 6 rear, so i like the ride firm anyhow.
Are coilover setups really bouncy though? or are they firm?
Tein H-tech's might not be low enough for my taste, even though i hear that the ride is sweet, what is it? 1.5 front, 1.3 rear? or lower? do they settle to more than that?
I am still boggled as to what to get...i know if its coils, ill prolly get Ksports, if its not, then illuminas paired with something with the motivationals and trimmed bumpstops

if you want to have a suspension that you can adjust, height, damepning, etc... then get coil overs.

if you just want a good strut/spring on there that you wont have to touch again, get a struts/spring combo.

if you want coil overs but dont want to fool with a lot of dampening, etc. . . get the D2 coil overs where all you can adjust is the ride height.
