CV joint pass side

Got the car up on jack, both wheels off the ground (front) and spin one wheel to see if LSD or not... the other wheel doesn't spin at all(this is the same on the other side). I thought because I have non canadian=non LSD the wheels should spin opposite directions? My passenger side outer CV joint has a slice in the boot and there is grease leaking out of it so I plan on getting one to replace it soon. I guess what I'm asking is, is the wheel NOT spinning good normal working condition? or busted up condition... And how long would I be able to go... Maximum I'm willing is til the steering wheel tugs side to side when accelerating.
Thanks

You can get an axle pusher. We use them at work, You screw threw lugs on it and use and impact to push the axle threw. You should be able to borrow one at autozone or someplace.
